Companies
The firm is involved with auditing all types and size of companies
from large companies with external and independent shareholders
to small family owned companies.
The audit is primarily an independent expression of opinion
on a financial statement to company shareholders.
We as a firm believe that the audit has many more benefits.
We ensure that the audit is used to add value and benefit to
our client's business and will ensure that positive results
are gained from our independent review and procedure.
We use our audit as a constructive and effective tool to
provide beneficial objective information about the future
of the company as well as expressing our view of the past
performance. The key features of our audit approach are:
1. To record and develop an in-depth understanding of your
accounting records, business and the commercial environment
in which it operates so that our audit is relevant and practical.
2. Use of modern computerised audit procedures and techniques
designed to assess risk and focus our work on important and
relevant areas of the financial statements.
3. Regular contact and communication with financial, management
and company directors so that you understand our work and
we are aware of developments in your business.
4. Provide relevant, effective and beneficial reports to the
management team regarding any weaknesses or strengths of the
company.
5. Provide responsive, efficient, innovative and cost effective
services to the highest professional standards.
6. Provide all company secretarial functions for the company
when and where necessary, including preparation and filing
of abbreviated accounts with the Companies Registry, preparation
of minutes of the meeting, filing all relevant forms with
Companies Registry and advising on any other secretarial points
which may arise. We are also involved in the preparation of financial statements
for companies, which elect to be exempt from audit - net turnover
below £1m. To find out more about our audit department please contact
us and we will be happy to discuss with you all the above
and any other points that you may have. Charities
The firm has been involved with charities of difference
sizes for many years.
During the past few years regulations have greatly increased
and financial statements have to be produced under strict
Accounting Standards. We as a follow all the Governments,
Charities Act Legislation and the Charity Commissioners guidance
even though legislation does not apply to Northern Ireland.
We carry out audit and services depending on the size and
type of charity. We ensure that Trustees are presented with
financial statements to the highest standard. We act as professional
advisers to guide you in best practice and as Registered Auditors
and Independent Examiners are required to ensure your charity
complies with accounting regulations and legislation. Charities often do not have in-house expertise to look after
the accounts and trustees generally like the comfort of an
outside examination of the finances. Jackson Andrews MRI can
provide all relevant services through the years as necessary.
We provide the following services: 1. Act as Charity Auditors or an Independent Examiner.
2. Advise you of any new legislation.
3. Advise regarding tax and VAT pitfall.
4. Advise regarding which accounting records should be kept. Please contact us at Jackson Andrews MRI to discuss all relevant
points that best suit your charity.
